This idea is the soul behind Sequoia Resort & RV Park, a refuge for 21st-century living discovered in 2004 by German architects Reinhard and Marleen Hesse. Seeing the beauty in the deserted ghost town that surrounded California's Sierra Nevada foothills, the Hesse's decided to grow roots, understanding the potential that lies beneath an untouched piece of land.
Today, the Sequoia Resort & RV Park is home to four nature-inspired vacation rental homes, each boasting unique architectural traits and mid-century modern details that highlight the area's natural beauty.
